| Description | Short Synopsis of Divineville: This is the story of Ella, a young woman, and her children, victims of schemes that force them to settle in the village of Divineville. What they don’t know is that this village is magical. Ella is originally from there: as a child, she was swapped and taken away by force. She also possesses a power—a power coveted by a dark lodge. Unknowingly, she holds the ability to destroy them. While Ella is distracted by the lodge’s machinations, they manage to destroy Divineville. Fortunately, the village’s children, hidden just in time, are saved and placed in foster families to protect them. Over the years, a school is built near the site of the vanished village. It is there that a little girl manages to make contact with the former villagers, still alive but hidden. Together, they eventually free themselves and take revenge: the members of the dark lodge lose their powers and are erased from the memories of all the people they know. But these powers, once torn away, transform into wandering clouds, searching for a place to be released. One of these clouds settles in a house, where it encounters a poor abandoned little dog, taken in by the house—now magical. |
